Joseph A. Gervasi interviews Richard Hoak of the godlike stoner grindcore band Brutal Truth and now Total Fucking Destruction. Rich grew up loving rock, punk, and metal in a rural part of PA. He’s played in Homo Picnic, Trained Attack Dogs, More Fiends, and other bands and has been known as “Rich Poor.” Rich dicusses the early Philly HC scene, touring with Brutal Truth, parenting, violence at shows, and more.
